The LRCE created the Charter School Incubator
(Incubator) in an effort to attract and train educational entrepreneurs and
community leaders to plan and operate charter schools throughout Louisiana.
Upon acceptance, Incubator participants will complete an intense one or
two-year charter school and school leader development program. The program
will enable Incubator participants to envision, advocate for, plan, and
implement a highly-effective charter school, as well as forge local,
regional and national partnerships to best serve their proposed schools.
